Several acronyms are used in the game system and scenarios to simplify writing and save space. You will find these acronyms in most role-playing games.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n xD6 <\/strong>: D6 designates a six-sided die. x designates the number of dice to roll. 3D6 = 3 six-sided dice.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n PF <\/strong>(Power Factor): a technical term for managing high power levels in the game system.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n GM<\/strong>: This is the game master, the one who prepares the game for the other players.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n PC <\/strong>(Player Character): A character played by a player, a hero of the story, a main character, a leading role.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n NPC <\/strong>(Non-Player Character): A character played by the GM, useful to the plot.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n EP <\/strong>(Energy Points): This is a representation of the vital energy, health, and morale of the character.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n SP <\/strong>(Success Points): This is a value used to measure character progression, success, and experience gained during adventures. The more a character plays, the stronger they become.
