Long-term actions

< 1 min read

Some tasks take a long time to complete, but time can be short. The GM must then decide:

  • The number of successes required to complete the task: generally, 4 for a relatively quick task and up to 16 or 20 for a long and tiring task.
  • Time required to perform a roll: from one roll per minute of work up to one roll per hour or even per day.

If necessary, the GM can also define the maximum time available to gather the number of successes or the consequences of the elapsed period.

Some of these tasks can be performed by all characters together: they accumulate the successes of all their rolls. Other times, only one character at a time can work (but they can pass the baton).
